New domain!

I saw the Squarespace announcement in regards to their 'partnership' with Google Domains so I went ahead and spent $12 (total comes to $13.14 after taxes of course) on purchasing my very own domain. They made it seem so easy to connect your existing Squarespace account to Google Domains but no, it wasn't that simple. I had to manually map the domain even though I already verified my account and connected the former and the latter. At least it worked, and www.cynhw.com is live!

That's precisely how I felt once my domain went live. #kidatheart

You might be wondering why there's an 'h' in between. It's obvious that 'cyn' is an abbreviated version of Cynthia, which is also a nickname my family gave me. I go by 'Cyn' at home, and I've lived with that nickname for almost 22 years (i'm 24 in case y'all were wondering). Wong is obviously my last name, but what's with the h? It's my middle initial and it's also my mom's last name. I've also lived with it for pretty much my whole life. I thought that explanation would help clears things up.

I've settled into my new Starbucks location. It's a drive-thru and cafe. There's a lot more to manage and I suppose a lot more to learn. But I am really hoping that one day I'll be able to part ways with the retail side of the company and get moving in their main offices. It's not a dream but it's a goal that I want to achieve.
