Two-hour Break.

I literally took two hours from work in order to attend a meeting. The meeting ended early and I got to eat from leftover ramen from last night. Kukai (they have locations in Bellevue and Northgate, and I believe they are wanting to open a new location in Capitol Hill) is by far my favorite ramen place in Seattle. And I'm really only talking about Seattle. I tried Ramen Man which is up in Wallingford. It was such a disappointment. Have you experienced a meal that was just so bad and not up to your expectations (plus all the anticipation and hype regarding the place) that you leave the restaurant not only unsatisfied but sad. I usually don't feel that way but with Ramen Man, I genuinely felt that way.

And wow, that sounded like a total first-world problem which is not! To look at things differently, I've been working crazy morning to night hours at different locations for my job that I decided to chime in a few more bucks for some good food. And when I walk away with less than satisfactory feelings, I feel like I've basically flushed the $$$ down the toilet.

Before getting more emotional about ramen, here is an assignment I did for my UX class. Even though I didn't carry out a full-scale user interview process, I still managed to gather some information for my website redesign project. Here is basically the problem statement and initial sketches of how I intend to redesign it.

Disclaimer: I was never a good sketcher. #dontjudge
