UX Design Project + Food.

I can attest to being a foodie because I consider myself a foodie, which is sometimes really sad because I'm always hungry, and always craving for [good] food. No, it doesn't have to be super good and super fancy. It just has to taste good which is relatively easy to find in Seattle. As I've already posted on my Facebook, I think this quote sums up me and my friends pretty well, of course it's a highly subjective matter. We aren't the best people but being able to spend time with friends and chat over food without having to worry about calories (such matters translate to unnecessary stress and labels you clip onto yourself).

"People who love to eat are always the best people."

Before I take off, I have a few announcements or rather I'd like to mention the progress I have been making in my UX design class at the General Assembly. First, I feel super official with a keycard that gets me in and out of the building. Second, I have finally decided what my final project would be. It's pretty obvious but I thought I'd share some details here as I will be posting the progress of the project here as part of building my portfolio for future purposes. Last month, I was chosen (to make it even more official, I had to go through a 30-minute interview with the current Secretary-General of a collegiate-level Model United Nations conference and their past designer, like wow right?) to become the Director of Design. This opportunity is super exciting for me because I have a lot of space to experiment and test out new skills. Working on the final project for class while simultaneously getting involved in such as project for a MUN conference is pretty cool. The ideas are still initial but an overview of it includes a redesign of the website and of course, I won't consider it as a 'project' unless I include some branding.

So stay tuned for future posts regarding the progress I'm making with the project!
