Let me try to Stay Positive

I always treat my blogs as if I am writing a cover letter. The crucial things that are missing would probably be why I would like to work for a company or your company. I try to keep the blogs as personal as possible. The purpose would be to allow people to really get to know the kind of person I am outside of a job environment because the things I post on here are most likely the things I am actually doing and projects I am seriously passionate about.

Ever since moving to Seattle, I have been exploiting the various opportunities to attend concerts. I suppose we are such a big city over here in the PNW that every band feels obligated to stop by here. And of course, this city is constantly brewing new musical talents. Recently, I have had the opportunity to finally see Ivan & Alyosha live - in front of my face. I missed them last year at the Summer Camp, but here we go, a dream come true and finally got to see them. I even got to chat with them after the show because you know, they were just casually chilling at the bar. Me, as a fangirl, was holding tightly onto my PBR while approaching them for a conversation.

I am so thankful to be living in the age of technology but at the same time, I ought to stay away from it at the same time. But you know, as a millennial (I think I qualify that label right now since I am 25 and growing), it's difficult to detach yourself from it. It makes life convenient but it also takes away a lot of the intimate relationships you form with people.

Other than that, I have been working a ton of hours. None of those hours are dedicated to a job that I truly want. I am back on the grind - basically working the craziest wee hours and possibly the worst night shifts. I suppose I am still young and really, it doesn't matter if you have to hustle in order to get yourself a few steps closer to your goals. I just hope I don't lose focus and ultimately would be able to enter the tech industry #FeelingHopeful
